I enjoy pet sites more where you grow your pets from eggs, and they evolve with age.

What pets do you know that have egg stages for virtual pets?

Rescreatu has an egg-hatching system that includes an incubator and a hatchery. After incubation, the egg can be hatched, revealing one of many species of Creatu, with a small chance of hatching a rarer color variation (such as albino or achromatic). Eggs need to be incubated before they can hatch, and the incubation process takes time, simulating a realistic nurturing mechanic.

There is also a timer on the eggs, so if you don’t hatch an egg within a certain period after incubation, it may go bad and fail to hatch.

Flight Rising also features an egg-hatching system within its breeding system (Nesting Grounds). After breeding your dragons, they produce eggs. These eggs must be incubated for a set period of time before they hatch and become baby dragons.

Online sites with pet hatching mechanisms are definitely among my preferences. Neopets provides a great hatching and pet-raising experience through its diverse pet egg collection.

I like the timer idea on Rescreatu. That's sort of realistic because not all eggs hatch.

If you haven't played Flight Rising, you're going to love it. It's a pet site game where you're into breeding and managing your dragons.

I would think most if not all have an egg hatching system to it?
I think only a few pet sites have an egg hatching system, when I first started playing virtual pet sites none of the sites had eggs to hatch into pets.

Mine has an egg hatching system <3

That's awesome! What's the time frame like until a pet hatches from their egg?

By bringing a neopet to life when you create it, I guess it's considered a form of hatching a pet, however, it's not quite a hatching system like some pet sites offer. You can hatch a Draik into a pet though as long you obtain a Draik egg and take it to the Draik Nest in Meridell, which will enable it to hatch into a full blown "Draik" pet. It's the only pet so far that's able to be hatched through an egg on Neopets. I don't believe there's been any other species that have been introduced onto Neopets with the egg hatching mechanism(please correct me if i'm wrong).

its based on clicks not time.. but the numbers arent too high I think it only takes 20 to make it hatch if Im remembering right.

I'm also interested in the virtual pet sittes that have the incubation system where you can hatch your egg. Neopet is a typical example where you can obtain your eggs from shops, quest or it could be true breeding. Once you have gotten your eggs, you can place it in a Neopian nursery and leave it to incubate until it eventually hatches into a new pet. Isn't that interesting?

Flight Rising goes deep into genetics with its breeding system. They really have a system where selection of progenitors have a direct impact on the result of the breeding process. It is excellent with depth when it comes to breeding.

Apart from Flight Rising, there are so many other virtual pet site games with unique egg-hatching systems such as ; Egg Cave, Towniz, and PETS GO!

I just find the breeding system of Flight Rising more engaging and more realistic. The part where an egg needs incubation five times in a single day for it to successfully hatch stimulates active participation of the player in the egg hatching process.
