What pet sites are more active than others?

Flight Rising and Lioden both generally average between 1,500 and 2,600 active users throughout the day. Lioden has over 489k members. Marapets averages about 4,800-5,100 daily active players.

Webkinz is another pet site that remains quite active, with its users being very engaged on social media and various forums across the internet.

Subeta is also fairly active, averaging about 300-500 users online daily. Xanje averages 120-200 players online, while Sylestia sees 100-250 players online at any given time.

Additionally, Rescreatu averages 250-270 active players daily, so they’re doing well in terms of daily activity.

Subeta is a great mention here too. I think it's basically because these sites have managed to evolve with the time while maintaining their core charm at the same time.

They’re still one of the largest pet sites in the industry and most active. According to their last stats update, they have an active player base of about 1 million or so users.


However, these numbers are probably much higher now, as this article was published in April of last year.


I believe Marapets has at least 2–3 million users, but I don’t think there are any other pet sites with close to 2 million users. Lioden, for example, has over 500,000 users. They currently have a total of 503,244 members.



On the other hand, Webkinz has over 20 million users, according to data from 2020, which makes them pretty close to Neopets (stats-wise).



Flight Rising likely has between 150,000 and 300,000 total users, as they average 1,500–3,000 users online daily.

Neopets has 150 million registered users from the totality of its 25-year history, but currently only has about one million annual active users. Still, Law says those active users are really active. Many have been playing for over 10 or even 15 years and stuck around through the worst days of the company. They’re few, but mighty.

Neopets look like they are bringing amazing features that have gotten a couple of older players back on board. I can't argue that they don't have the biggest active players with what they've done recently.

According to Similarweb's traffic stats, Flight Rising currently averages about 2.978M visitors a month, and Neopets receives about 6.366M visitors a month. Flight Rising is relatively pretty close to Neopets' traffic and daily numbers.

However, Marapets is currently receiving about 750k monthly visitors on a monthly basis. It remains to be seen how many of those visitors are active users though.

Flight Rising also averages about 98.94M pageviews per month, where Neopets averages about 243.3M pageviews per month and Marapets averages 59.92M pageviews per month.

It is relatively safe to say that Flight Rising is gaining ground on Neopets' traffic stats, however; will they be able to surpass them as the largest & most active virtual pet site? It's possible.

Yes bringing in new features was the right move to do on their parts, and if they keep on bringing new activities and features, am sure activities will keep increasing.
