The video game with a very impressive story is The Last of Us. This storyline stood out to me. Its emotional depth, strong characters, and unexpected twists make it feel more like a movie. I still remember the strong bond between Joel and Ellie. Very unforgettable!

Just like the OP, I also think The Last of Us has a great story but I will go with the games in Final Fantasy series for being best with the scripts and plots, especially Final Fantasy 7 and spin offs.

Red Dead Redemption 2 and God of War are two of the best story-telling games I’ve played. I also like The Last of Us, it is very touching game. These games prove that video games can be quite engaging.

Disco Elysium has one of the deepest plots that I have gotten to see in a video game. The player is a detective that has a fractured frame on a mission to investigate a murder. The complexity is that he detective has amnesia.

True. Red Dead Redemption 2 plot was way better than the first game but they're both very good. The game's rating says so much about how good they were.
