What was the first forum you joined?

Do you recall the very first first forum that you ever joined? Is that particular online community still online today, or is offline? The first forum that I ever joined was Sitepoint, followed by DigitalPoint, and then ForumPromotion. At the time, two of these forums were particually dedicated to webmasters and online communities.

What about you? Do you recall the very first forum that you ever joined? How long have you been a member of those forums?
 
I joined Hubpages around 2010, Hubpages had a forum for in house writers. Hubpages forum was the first forum I joined. I left the forum when I had pretty bad experience with users. A few years later, I discovered Postloop and I started posting on various forums through Postloop
 
I can't remember but I joined ForumPromotion back in 2010 so it could of been the first forum I joined before creating my own forums.
 
The first forum I ever joined was ApexWebGaming, and VPL was the second forum I joined.
 
It was BeerForum many years ago. I am grateful to my friend who told me about the opportunities that abounds on the internet.
 
Oh god, uhhhhh, I think it was the G4 video game cheat board way back in like 2006, never knew about forums but they advertised it on the tv show and I thought I check it out.

This is massive! I don't think that I've known what forums are all about back then.
 
The first forum I joined was Glitch City Laboratories, it was a website dedicated to documenting and discussions about the glitches in the generation 1 Pokemon games. I was a complete noob when I posted on the forum, I was 15 going on 16 when I joined lol. This was back in 2006. Sadly the forum is no longer online, the wiki lives on but the community moved to Discord which I'm not a fan of... I was going to be the wiki sysop for the new wiki but I got cold feet and overwhelmed so someone else took over for me. :V

That's quite awesome. How would you rate activities on forums during the era of G4 forums and now? Anything you missed from the past?

Oh they were insanely busy, but that's what happens when you can advertise on popular tv shows to join the forum. I would say I miss the people from back then.
 
The first forum I joined was a roleplay forum! It was originally known as Warrior Cats RPG, but was later rebranded to Feralfront. I’m not sure if anyone from that site would be here, but if you are, hi hello! aggressive waving

I miss that site, man. Made a lot of friends and memories on it back in my RP days. I loved writing about my characters and plotting with other people. Good times 🥺
