I knew that many of us must have that particular traits about older people when we were little that we mocked and made jest of, but the whole thing changed as we became older because apparently, we started behaving in a similar manner.

Which attitude is that?

Taking bath or showering as a kid was a serious struggle. I never liked it but growing up, I understood the importance of maintaining a good hygiene. I don't with having my bath or shower now.

Understanding the importance of personal hygiene is a big part of what growing up means. One becomes more intentional on neatness and how to go about it.

I really used to hate having to go to bed early as a kid. In fact, I felt so much pain when my parents forced me to go to bed around 9PM. As an adult, I now crave to go to bed early so that I would be productive mentally and physically during the day.

I began appreciating going to bed early when I became an adult as well. That was the time that I realised that joking with my sleep is never the way out, man.

I used to mock my sister when she chose to study English literature in college but later I went to study writing in English as a second language.

As a kid, I used to laugh at adults that sleep early and carry flasks to work. Now, I do the same. I sleep by 10pm and put my food in the flask before leaving my house for work.

This is just the type of life that I am living right now. I am just managing my resources and don't want to spend a lot on buying food at restaurants.
