What's that weird rule that your parents made when you were growing up?

Growing up, we must have had some different rules made by our parents, which turned out to be weird now that we are adults. Those years, some parents believed that giving milk to their kids would make them grow tall.

Which one did your parents make back then?

My parents made a rule that no one was allowed to visit us at home. In fact, we were not allowed to have friends. That's how we lived an isolated life. We only had to learn about social life after we had broken free from our parents.

Oh! my mum used to say I couldn’t drink cold water at night because it’ll freeze my heart. 😂 I actually believed her for years. Parents had the wildest logic sometimes.

I can't think of any weird rules made by my parents when we are still kids. Everything they did was meant to provide and protect us. I'll be grateful to my parents all the time.
