What's the best free game you've played?

My personal favourites are Genshin Impact, Valorant, Fortnite among others
 
The best free game I've ever played (although I started when it wasn't free) is Counter-Strike 2, or formally known as Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. I grew up playing Counter-Strike so I'm a huge fan of the franchise and love the redesign they did. I started playing when CS:GO came out in 2012 and bought it for $15. Now it's free, which is a good and bad thing. More people can play, but there are now more cheaters who create new accounts when they get banned.
 
Probably Final Fantasy XIV for me. Technically it's a subbed game, but most of the expansions are free to play now until level 80 (which is like... the base game + 3 expansions worth of content). If you don't mind waiting a few years or you take a long time to go through all the free content, you can technically play for free... forever. Some races are locked behind the sub, though.

I tried Genshin Impact, but I got pretty bored. Stunning graphics, though. (I also managed to get my favourite, Raiden, and played as her religiously.)
