You are right , the GTA V was definitely up there, but Red Dead Redemption 2 takes the lead. The level of detail and realism in that game is mind-blowing.

The Last of Us 2, Star Citizen is way more costly but not more than Red Dead Redemption. Star citizen is still in development though but I have read that Red Dead Redemption is the costliest game now.
