What's the scariest game you've played?

What's the scariest game you've ever played? For me, it's probably Outlast, one of the best horror games. There's also a sequel to it, Outlast 2, but I haven't played it. I might give it a try when I clear my backlog of games. And also, just for the record, I wasn't scared of playing it! 😉

The scariest game I have played was many years ago and it was a SAW game that I managed to pick up quite cheaply to play through.

I managed to play through the game to complete it and I believe I got all the achievements on the game too. This was the first and only game I not only found scary but stuck to for a full play-through.

I don't play any games that are meant to be scary/horror. I'd have to say probably the scariest for me would be Subnautica. It has jumpscares, and that's enough for me. Haha.

I'd probably say the original Silent Hill or Resident Evil 4 when I first played it. These things scared the crap out of me....

I usually don't play scary/horror games, but I did try Outlast and it was so creepy and scary that I couldn't make it past the first level LOL. 😀

Outlast was pretty creepy tbf, lots of people think it's the scariest thing they've ever played which is quite an achievement.

Any of the RE games, they really make me jump.

Amnesia: The Dark Descent still give me goosebumps and I still have nightmares of those creepy scenes. The tension in that game is so intense and it's hard to forget.
