There are so many creative trends that we have come across probably online. Some are hit while others are missed. Some trends are just too annoying and they fail in appealing to people. One of them is overused filters. It's so annoying and unoriginal. What's the worst creative trend you've ever come across?

Memes tend to be quite funny and entertaining to me, but there's just so many across the internet that it's hard to keep up with them. Some are funny and some aren't. I tend to see a wide variety of them on a daily basis, so i usually don't see the same ones everyday.

The main thing that I find annoying is the trend of AI videos climbing to the top. They've been all over my feeds lately, some look realistic and others don't. They're ridiculous and I'm tired of seeing them across my feed.

Sure, some are funny, but at the same time, many of them aren't. At least their creators can be creative about it, instead of flooding the internet with nonsense videos.

I didn't say that they're an overused trend. I love memes, they're one of my favorite aspects of the internet. However, there are some that have been floating around for many years that they're not necessarily unique anymore. I follow many groups on Facebook and pages that I come across the same memes multiple times per day, or I see them on Twitter as well.

I like seeing new ones, but they're not really easy to come by these days unless a new movie or show comes out where someone creates a new one based upon the character's actions. You generally the same ones circling for a while until a new one takes over for a couple of weeks.

I guess you wanted to say that you don't find them very interesting when they are used a lot more times and that is what I understand. There are a whole lot of memes for one to stick to using only one every minute of the day.

There are many of them all over the social media. "Hilarious memes, Admiral memes, introvert memes, memes life and so many other. I will check out this "images that make you feel", I want to feel something too 😅

Yeah I agree. I have seen a lot of AI art that looks funny, it was nothing near human created art. Sometimes the faces are weird or hands don’t look right. I think it's used everywhere now and doesn’t feel original. Real art still has a special touch that the AI misses.

Yeah, exactly, AI art looks off sometimes, those hands or faces can be nightmare honestly. I’ve seen so many on social media lately, and they all start to look the same. Real art still feels alive, like someone’s emotion is in it.

The main thing I've been noticing lately is the rise of videos that use celebrities who are no longer with us. This trend is honestly pretty sad, and I don’t understand why so many creators are heading in that direction.

It really started after OpenAI launched their new video app, Sora. I’ve also seen a lot of videos using copyrighted images and content, which is something that definitely needs to stop. Using copyrighted or trademarked material from companies like Disney or Universal — or even music from popular artists is a risky move. Sooner or later, those creators are going to face consequences for it.

It’s one thing to use your own creativity, but stealing images to make content definitely isn’t the way to go.

You’re spot on there. That fake promotion trend really hurts trust. I can easily tell when the influencers don't use what they advertise because that can really be very visible with the way they present it. That is what makes everything feel fake and forced. I’ve unfollowed a few because of that. Realness sells more than any fake smile ever will.

I totally agree. I can’t stand that fake product promo stuff either. You can just tell when someone doesn’t even use what they’re selling. It ruins the trust for everyone else. I used to follow a skincare influencer who switched products every week. I stopped watching after that.

I wouldn't say worst trend but sometime back Ghibli style cartoons became popular and everyone was turning their photos into Ghibli art. I didn't like it.
