What's your favorite desktop pet game?

Desktop games are vastly different from browser-based ones, as they generally live on the bottom of your screen and let you feed or play with your pets right on your desktop instead of through a browser. The first known desktop pet was Neko, and others followed its lead like Catz & Dogz, Shimeji, My Talking Pet, DesktopMates, and Wobbledogs.


But what kind of desktop pet games do you enjoy playing?
Are these types of games your thing, or do you lean more toward browser-based or handheld ones like Tamagotchi or Digimon?

My favourite desktop pet game would go to Weyrdlets: Idle Desktop Pets. There are lots of customizable options beyond the basic customization of a typical pet game. You don't just customize the appearance of your virtual pet but can customize it's home to how you imagine it. Good desktop pet game.

I'm much into these digital creatures that roam my desktop. Neko and Shimeji are classics, but I've enjoyed having Wobbledogs for their off-beat designs and interactions.
