Originally, Kinopiron was supposed to be similiar to misticpets. That was my obsession when I was a kid when I started developing it at 13 years old. Here I am nearly 20 years later, finalizing the project and I have been spending quite some time on neopets and other petsites, noting how their sites are laid out.
I have looked at user shops, galleries, etc and made notes on what I wish they would have and what I would honestly feel would make it "better". Tried to figure out points in the game that I favor the most, like quests on misticpets?-- top tier! lol.
I spend so much time going through reading reviews on VPS and learning what users want/don't want, and adjusting my dev structure to try and bend to what I believe users are asking for in a petsite.
If you are developing a VPS, how do you plan? As Kinopiron nears "completion" for phase one testing, I am extremely nervous and scared.
