When did you first join Neopets?

Neopets is the OG of virtual pet sites. When did you first discover Neopets?

I stumbled across Neopets during elementary school in computer class when I seen one of my classmates on Neopets. How about you?
 
I joined Neopets back in 2002 or 2003. I originally joined due to my friends discussing it during recess or while we were in class. From there, i decided to join up and start playing when i got out of school. As a teenager, I also played with my mom, however, we didn't send each other items or points or anything. She taught how to play while we played in different rooms. After Neopets, we started playing Powerpets together.

My old neopets account is no longer around, but I still have my account on Powerpets.
 
I joined Neopets in the year 2005. And it was around that period that Neopets got increasing popularity everyday. I read about the site on a gaming forums and signed up on it. Got hooked on the fascinating virtual world experience and it's unique lore.

You're operating from future then since you joined and started playing Neopets in the year 2095 😂 😂 😂.

If I remembered correctly, it was either 2005/06 I started playing Neopets.

Started playing Neopets around that same 2005. That was obviously a typo. I have corrected it now.

My journey in playing Neopets started in 2003 but I stopped playing around 2008 and came back to the game again in 2013. I haven't stopped playing again since then.
