When did you start writing?

I started writing in 2008, with blogs. Surprisingly, I was able to monetize the one centered on travel. To be honest, I was not a competent writer at the time, and I had no the idea I could make money from it. I just needed a way to express my thoughts and feelings, especially when I had a difficult time with my mental health. I got a writing job eventually and have been working as a content writer ever since. While I would not call myself an expert, I can say that I have improved over the years.
 
I started writing back in 2004. I started writing basic things at first, then I started writing forum threads and blog posts after that. In 2007, I launched a blog to express my thoughts and feelings. It was a nice journey running the blog and I learned a lot from doing so.

My writing style has improved from when I first started.
 
I salute your courage because writing as a career is not always easy. It takes hardwork and dedication. Also considering the competition, it takes a unique writing skill to stand out.

But seriously? When I found out that it could change my financial situation, perhaps around 2008 or so.

One of the ways to keep going as a writer is when you receive rewards for your writing. So, congratulations on monetizing your travel blog.
 
I started writing by maintaining a private journal when I was a ninth grader. Years later my father found it and then said to me, you have written really nice essays and poetry.
 
I started writing when I got into building websites, and working on my SEO. I was never big on writing when I was in school.

Do you still write in cursive? I only do it sometimes.🤣
 
Writing is for my eyes only. I always got buried with my diary where I dropped how I felt, the thoughts running around my head. I started writing since I was of age to know that this is right or wrong.

I've missed the days when I got a diary where I could pen my thoughts. I've not had time to do so nowadays and it is as a result of how busy my day goes daily.
 
I can't say exactly when I started writing as I have always liked to write and it has helped me in discovering and expressing myself. Though I don't regard myself as a professional , I'm striving hard to develop myself every day.
 
I love writing and it was in my high school days. The essay we were given in class helped me a lot. Since then, I have been improving in writing in any genre.
 
I started writing in 2020 when I was contracted to be a guest contributor for a music blog. From there, my interest in music grew and I have written for more than a 100 different platforms across several niches.

This is cute. To have written on up to 100 platforms shows vast experience in writing content. What would you say has been the most difficult experience you had during these years?
 
When I was in school and college I had to write a lot of writing, such as term papers, dissertation etc. When I started working, I had to write as a part of my job

Working in a place where you are expected to write also helped me so much when I started writing. I had the chance to prepare weekly market targets for the firm which helped me improve my writing skills.
 
Does writing while at school count? I was pretty good at writing essays and passages when I was in school

Yes, it does count. It takes a certain level of creativity and intelligence to be able to do well at essays.

That can be said to be the starting point of a good writer.
 
I started general writing in 2005. I was writing for fun but around 2009, I was interested into freelance writing. Since then, I haven't stopped because I'm enjoying it.
