We've all ignored a genre until one game finally clicked. Maybe it was a simulation game, a city builder, or a JRPG. Which title changed your mind? Did it lead you to explore more games in that genre?

Hrmmm, not sure, maybe the Sly Cooper series for what stealth is really like in a good game?

Resident Evil changed my opinion on horror games. I’ve always been someone who avoided the genre because, frankly, it was hard for me to sit down, alone, and play them. I love the horror genre, but for some reason games were a different story. Until I sat down and played Requiem back in April. Since then I’ve played all of the RE games available on Steam, and I’ve played a bunch of other horror games (Silent Hill 2 as well!) since then. I’ve overcome my fear and I genuinely have Requiem to thank for that — such an amazing game. Now I’m obsessed and needing more horror experiences lol
