There are so many pet site game's developers with so many games they have launched for gamers to enjoy. Some of the notable one's are ; dtp entertainment, Radon Labs, Chaiim Studios, Engine Software, 1st Playable Productions, Playfish, Jellyvision, Vivarium Inc., BEC, NetDragon Websoft, World of Neopia, Inc and etc.

Which developer of pet site games have been your favourite in the industry?

Netdragon/Jumpstart were the former owners of Neopets, and World of Neopia is the new owner under Dominic Law. Netdragon didn’t really improve Neopets that much, so I wouldn’t consider them one of my favorites. However, World of Neopia is doing well.

It’s nice to see Neopets improving and getting more traction under new ownership."

Chaiim Studios is owned by @Anoua

They are all doing well with their skills and talents. I don't have a favourite developer. I have always liked 1st Playable Productions, Playfsh, World of Neopia.
I also don’t have one favorite. I’m glad that there’s so many developers that have created games that we can play and enjoy!😄

There's a reason why they are the pet site game with the biggest player base. They are simply too good for the rest.

They’ve been around for 25 years now, and the vast array of features and games is the main reason why Neopets leads the pack in this industry. Their leadership set the example of what pet games should and shouldn’t do. They’ve been sold many times, and hopefully, they can remain with the same ownership so it doesn’t end up being shut down like Moshi Monsters and Club Penguin. As long as Neopets stays profitable and can sustain its loyal user base, I don’t see it going anywhere.
Neopets. Since that's where I started, but I don't like the direction it went, they became too commercial,
I agree. The commercial era started when Viacom owned Neopets.

Yes and if the game doesn't have a good structure, I doubt if it's going to keep being sold from one owner to another. The new owner always see something worth investing in which is why they pay for its acquisition.

What really made the Neopets to survive and still maintaining its core charm is its innovation and immersive gameplay. Also its dedicated community really make it an attractive asset for potential owners.

The developers did their home work well when they were creating the game. Even though they slacked off a little which gave Marapets an opportunity to chase them, they have still managed to keep up and stay ahead.

My favorite pet site developer is definitely Playfish. All of their games are lovely. From My Singing Monsters to Pet Society. They are able to created a very engaging and addictive games.

That's a great question and a tough one at the same time. Anyways, if I had to choose one, my favorite pet site game developer is Neopets (now known as JumpStart Games). I give Kudos to the Neopets team for their outstanding work..
JumpStart Games no longer owns Neopets, as the company was shut down on July 23, 2023. Neopets is now owned by World of Neopia, Inc., and Dominic Law is the CEO.

However, JumpStart Games/NetDragon previously owned Neopets from 2014 to 2023.

Before JumpStart owned Neopets, Viacom owned it from 2005 to 2014.
