Most virtual pet games always have mechanics that ensure the virtual pets that a player has on the game are negatively affected if they are not given attention for a long time.

Which virtual pet game suits long absence? I mean games that the virtual pets would still not really be negatively impacted if they are not given attention for a long time?

If we are talking about virtual pet games that are okay for long absences, there are a couple of ones that we should look at.

The first one is Hellopet which is just all about the pet roaming around your mobile screen. This game is better played daily, but being unavailable for a couple of days doesn't come with heavy fines.

Another one that you can consider is Pokipet and although I've not spent a lot of time playing the game, the penalty for the few days that I missed playing wasn't that huge.

I don't think we need to leave our pets no matter how busy we are but if there was a reason for the absence, I will go for a travel frog pet game. It can wander for many days and your absence won't be a worry.

I think Neopets is still on top of the list. You can log in anytime, check your pets, do other daily stuff. I remember logging back after months, but I was able to catch up without stress. That I an mportant feature if you do not have time everyday.

With Flight Rising, you're not punished severely for taking a long break from playing because your dragons won't die, get sick, or suffer bad degradation.

You're only going to miss out on the opportunity to earn in-game currency, daily login rewards and fail to participate in limited time festivals and events.

That's fairs. You can return back to playing the game, still motivated with how your pet is doing. That is different from other pet games where your pet can be in a horrible state when you return from a short break of a few days that you took.

With Flight Rising, Subeta, Neopets, Marapets, Aywas, Khimeros, Sylestia, and Powerpets, your pets will not be negatively affected on these games. Your pets will be perfectly fine with you return and log back in.

Some of these games also offer a pet hotel feature where your pet can stay at; be taken care of, and fed during your absence.

On Flight Rising, your dragons will be hungry when you return, but as long as you feed them upon return, they'll be fine, but they do not get sick or anything of that nature.

However, on certain horse games, your horse can get sick, if you don't log in and take care of your horses.
