Who has ever played video games with Virtual Reality (VR) headset?

They say that using VR headsets to play a video game immerses you into the near perfect realest simulation of the environment of the game. I have never used a VR headset to game before. Who in this forum has used VR t play a videogame? How would you describe the experience?

I have, it was neat, but made me sweaty quick and my eyes hurt, so I don't use it much.

I haven't tried it either but just like you I am interested in trying VR for gaming. The only thing that is stopping me is the price. I can sure get Chinese made cheaper ones but I want something good and they are quite expensive.
