Even after a frustrating session, many people queue for another match. Is it the hope of ending on a win, the ranking system, or something else that keeps players coming back?

Some like the fame, glory and attention on them, they don't want to give that up.

I think it's because competitive games always offer one more match, one more rank, or a chance to end on a win. It's easy to keep chasing that feeling.

I think a lot of players keep going because they feel one more match will fix the frustration from the last one. The desire to recover lost progress or prove themselves can be strong. Sometimes taking a break is harder than continuing, even when it's the better choice.

Maybe they are addicted to competitive games so they continue to try again and again. Or maybe they ate looking for glory by becoming winner, or perhaps they are looking for prize money.
