Even positive changes can feel uncomfortable at first. Why do you think people naturally resist change? Has a change you once worried about ended up improving your life?

I think we fear change because it brings uncertainty. Even when we know a change might be good, the familiar often feels safer than the unknown. Our minds naturally prefer predictability, so stepping into something new can feel uncomfortable until we adjust.

As long as it's a positive change, I'm open to it with all willingness. Negative change is what I can never be comfortable with.

I know the reason why I don't like change, even if it's positive. It's because I like my routine and any time it changes it throws me off, even if it's a positive change it really messes with me at first. Then I eventually do get used to it.

Change brings uncertainty, and people fear uncertainty. Therefore, they are afraid of change. People also fear change because they like familiarity and changes are always unfamiliar.

Because change is something you don't know what will happen with, whereas routine is easier to deal with.

This is true. My only consolation when it happens is that I know the change is going to benefit me on the long run which is why I'm willing to adapt to it.
