With how good Deepfake is now, how do we know videos of popular people that are real or fake?

I have seen some videos generated by Deepfake. They are looking so real. The AI video generator can generate videos of popular people and one can hardly find any margin to know it is AI generated.

With how much Deepfake has improved, how would we be able to decipher videos of popular people that are real or Al generated? What are the margins?
 
That's the huge problem right now, we don't. We need a hard law passed that states all AI must be ID correctly or face harsh punishments.
 
Deepfakes are too good now. Few months ago, I almost fail for a fake news. But since I have journalistic experience, I did research and found it to be fake. One way to spot deepkake is you need to look for similar content online and see if major website. media house are running the news or not.
 
Sadly, we don't know unless those people come out to debunk the video not being real. It's crazy when AI and technology have exposed us to.
 
The deepfake thing is very scary. I saw one video of a politician talking rubbish and almost believed it. Only to noticed that the mouth wasn’t matching properly. honestly now, I doubt every viral video.

Most of the time you can screenshot those particular videos or images and run it through Google Images & it'll pull up the source of those videos or images.

Therefore, it'll help you decipher if the video or images is fake, or real.

You can also look up similar articles on the internet and find out if there's any related information to those videos.
