Would you buy a leather or cloth made couch?

Leather made couch looks absolutely beautiful when they are new. Also, if they are made with a high end quality leather like full grain Italian leather, they can last for 20 years or more without cracking. When low quality leathers are used, they wear out quickly and develop lots of cracks that looks disgusting. This is why some people opt for cloth made couch over leathers.

What's your favourite between leather or cloth made couch?
 
Both are good in their own way but I think that I can opt for cloth made couch over leather. No matter how beautiful the leather will be or the high end quality, it must surely torn even when you didn't expect it.
 
I like leather couches, but I probably wouldn't buy one because my dogs would wreck it.
 
Cloth, leather is nice for clean up and what not, but it can get too cold or hot and not as comfy.

My dog totally wrecked the leather sofa. But she also covers the cloth one with her oodles of fur. But she's my princess and can do anything she wants (or so she tells me!)

It's because of this getting hot of a thing is why I don't ever try sleeping in my leather couch.

This is the life of a pet owner. Imagine what a cat would do if your dog did that to your leather couch.
 
I prefer cloth over leather, mostly because I'm hot-natured and my skin will stick to leather and I hate that... Also cloth is more comfortable to me. Though, my boyfriend feels the opposite. He says leather is easier to clean with animals; my solution (I take from my grandmother) is to just throw a sheet over the furniture. When it gets dirty, toss the sheet into the wash, vaccuum the fabric, then spray some odoban!

Not to mention the last leather chair he had was riddled with cracks and we had to put a sheet on it anyway cause I couldnt stand the rough cracks touching me)

Cleaning of leather is definitely a lot easier but that doesn't mean there isn't a solution on how to use cloth couch and keep it clean too which your grandma's tactics works perfectly.

Whenever it's getting hotter, I will make use of the ground to avoid too much heat on me.
Cat will finish the work and stamp it with it's signature 😂
Pets are really crazy animals and they don't care what you will do.
 
I would prefer a leather couch because it requires less cleaning also, it is fairly durable. Cloth made couches are more warm but much more difficult to clean, especially when there are pets or children at home.
 
A leather couch would be more durable than a cotton couch. The cotton couch that I have seen always gets torn easily. And I can't lie on a cotton couch as it always scratches my body.

Yes, It is also more convenient, and resistant to deterioration than cloth, it also has a longer shelf-life and appears more fashionable.
 
Leather made couch is what I prefer and it's what my living room is furnished with. Cloth made couch still look good but they are outdated for me to still be interested in using them.

I do agree with you, leather provides a contemporary and classy appearance to any living room. It is also durable and lasts longer than the cloth, which easily gets worn out.
 
I've had good luck with my egg chair outdoor for lounging — it's comfortable in any season and easy to clean. For indoor couches, leather's durability wins for me, but cloth feels nicer for napping.

Leather is good but very expensive. Therefore, I prefer PU leather, it looks like leather, easy to maintain, costs lower than leather but also lasts long.
