Yeah, I would attribute writer's block as being unable to come up with what happens next in the story or not even being able to start a story/plot/subplot.There have been some times that I can think of what to write but due to the sentences not making sense to me, I will rewrite or I can start afresh to write it again. I didn't know that's word block happening to me.
But, I don't know if word block is a thing for writers, as it's only something that I've come across in my own work and never pursued writing courses more than I had to (stopped at the required level to get my bachelor's) to know if that's apart of "writer's block".
I will be writing exactly what I know I am writing, but be unable to finish it because I come to a word that I knew I was going to use, but just couldn't recall it, or it means something different than what I originally thought. So, I'll need to look up the word to verify that's the one I was going for, and if not, question the entire block of text I just wrote to try and figure out what I was aiming for. And if I still can't determine what I was trying to convey with that word or phrase, I'll need to rewrite it. However, there's no writer's block, per se, as I know what I am writing, I just can't express it the way I set out to do the first time.
