Xanje has launched its new event, The turkey invasion, which is a semi competitive event as there’s a leaderboard in place for users that have claimed the most turkeys.

As Thanksgiving approaches in the United States, we're gearing up for our traditional turkey hunt event at Xanje. The Xanje Team expresses gratitude for the incredible contributions of our dedicated volunteers and, of course, for all you players who contribute to making Xanje the fantastic community it is. Thank you!

This event has a semi-competitive element, and if you prefer not to participate, simply avoid joining through the linked page.

Enabling the activity will cause turkeys and items to populate pages throughout the event. If you wish to disable sounds, navigate to Settings > Sounds > Turkey Sounds.

Turkeys are drawn to "feed" items that you strategically place on pages. Click the new "Place Feed" button in the lower left corner of the screen to select an item to place, which will land in a random position. Any food item is eligible for placement, and you can drop a new item every minute. Unconsumed items will vanish (rot) after 5 minutes.

Turkeys may appear on various pages, including Forums, Homepage, Pets, Inventory, and Library. When a turkey shows up, it's the same one for everyone on that page. It will gracefully stroll in from the side of the screen, meander around, and upon stopping to eat, the person who placed the feed and the first two clickers will be rewarded with 10-1,000 coins or, more rarely, up to five Grey Swirl Stones, Pink Swirl Stones, or Stray Nets. After two people click it, the turkey disappears. If left untouched, it vanishes after about 30 seconds.

A new turkey spawns every 15 seconds wherever there's feed on Xanje. Turkeys roam for up to 15 seconds before settling to eat. During this wandering period, clicking the turkey has no effect.

Winners receive a popup notification on their screen. If your feed is consumed while you're offline, a game notification will be sent to you.

We've also introduced a leaderboard this year. This leaderboard monitors the top 10 players in key categories: "Feed placed" and "Turkeys claimed." The top three in each category will receive an exclusive Thanksgiving pin on their profile. We'll be announcing the winners once the event wraps up.

This festive activity continues until the end of the day on Friday, November 29. Keep an eye out for Christmas Stockings appearing on profiles shortly after!

Enjoy the event, and don't forget to share what you're thankful for!
