Xanje has launched its newest mini game, Cardword Grove and more game releases are planned in the near future.
Hey everyone!
Back in May, we asked for your input on what's next for Xanje, and many of you suggested new mini games. Two of the most popular requests were Solitaire and Mahjong.
So, I'm excited to introduce our newest game: Cardwood Grove, a fresh take on the classic Solitaire!
To play, head to over to Xanje’s Game’s section and click Cardwood Grove.
How to play:
Objective:
The goal is to move all the cards to the four foundation piles on the right side, arranged by suit and in ascending order from Ace to King.
Setup:
The game starts with seven tableau columns. The first column has one card, the second has two cards, and so on. Only the top card of each tableau column is face up.
The remaining cards form a draw pile, placed on the top left.
Gameplay:
You can move cards between columns in descending order and alternating colors. For example, a red 9 can be placed on a black 10.
If a tableau column becomes empty, you can place a King or a pile starting with a King in that space.
Click on the draw pile to reveal new cards one at a time. These cards can be moved to the tableau or foundation piles if they fit.
If you've gone through the entire draw pile, click on it again to look through the cards once more.
Special Buttons:
Hint Button (light bulb): Gives you a hint on which card to play next.
Undo Button (curved arrow): Allows you to reverse your last move if you make a mistake or want to try a different strategy.
Settings Button (gear): Opens the game settings where you can adjust various options.
Forfeit Button (flag): Ends the game if you feel you’re out of moves or want to start over.
Winning the Game:
To win, successfully move all cards to the foundation piles. Keep strategizing your moves to ensure that you don't block important cards.

Xanje’s is planning to add new games more frequently now and they will also work on fixing older ones. As always, they love hearing your feedback!
