Xanje has unveiled its latest game, Mahjong, a fresh take on the classic game.
The second most requested minigame is now here: Mahjong!
This initial release features:
6 Layouts: Classic, Square, Bridge, Heart, Triangle, and Pyramid
4 Tile Image Sets: Traditional and Simple, both with light and dark.
3 Actions: Hint, Undo, and Shuffle
Objective:
Match pairs of identical tiles to clear the board.
Click on tiles to select and deselect. Selecting two matching tiles will remove them from the board. Tiles are selectable when uncovered and free on the left or right edge.
Upon running out of matchable tiles, click on the shuffle button to continue.
Strategy:
Focus on matching tiles that uncover the most hidden tiles to maximize your options and avoid getting stuck without any matchable pairs. Usually these key tiles are found on the top most layers.
Scoring:
Win the game once every tile is matched and removed from the board.
The biggest factor in scoring is time taken, with amount of tiles matched being a small factor. Each usage of hint, undo, and shuffle weighs the same and will negate a small percentage of score.
Thanks again to Vuek for the amazing art!
As always, let us know what you would like to see next in Mahjong and Minigames in general!
