Hello everyone! I'm Xyphien, 32 and super into everything retro 😀 I have 2 virtual pet games I've developed. One being Pixacrea which is a retro inspired video game with a fully made TCG and the other one is Monsters on a Y2K website I made, you get eggs from being active on the site, and hatch them to get Monsters to battle, level up, trade, train, etc. If you love retro stuff do not hesitate to reach out to me, I'm ALWAYS down to talk about nearly anything retro <3 If you have any questions or want to get to know me more feel free to ask below, I'm an open book 🙂

Probably Nintendo 64 because that's when I really got into Zelda! But I also desperately miss Sega consoles. Favourite games are pretty much those from the 70s-80s, so like Legend of Zelda, Final Fantasy 7-9, donkey kong arcade game (like at the laundromat or pizzeria), etc. Also liked games from late 90s and 2000, like Harvest Moon 64/Back to Nature, Pokemon Yellow/Blue, and of course Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. I also really loved the OG pokemon trading card game. For board games, Clue and Battleship were my favourites.

How about you? What're some of your favourites?

Well I am in the process of remaking the old web inside one intraweb style site 😀 As for collecting anything retro I have a little collection 🙂 Retro Game Setup Showcase! I made a post and showed some of my collection there 🙂

N64 is an amazing era and one of my all time favorite consoles as well! I have harvest moon, pokemon yellow & blue! My favorites though are Starfox 64, Final Fantasy 2 (In the US, 4 for those of y'all outside of it), Diablo 2, and Drakengard 2 for the PS2! Mario Party is also very fun, I play that occasionally with friends & my wife although she's not a big fan of it (She hates not winning, like HATES it). For TCGs my goto use to be Yugioh, and I actually make my own TCGs as well and have one that plays how, imo pokemon should have played >.>

Oh, those are awesome picks! One of my siblings loved Starfox, I never played it myself. I only recently learnt (sometime this past year) that my Final Fantasy 4... is actually Final Fantasy 2. I was floored, haha. I just got Drakengard on PS3 (since PS3 shop is closing this year), but I love NieR so I suspect I'll love Drakengard. I've never seen Yugioh cards in person, but I would've flipped as a kid if I had, haha! We played Yugioh TCG as a video game. Fun times. c: (Also, mood... My sibling also hated -- and still hates -- losing with a passion, lol.)

I know a YouTuber made his own TCG. I got a deck to support him. It was really cool. Didn't play, though. Do you have a link to your TCGs?
