What’s the best narrative-driven indie game you’ve played?

Disco Elysium, for sure. The script's over a million words long, and the writing for that script is fantastic. I found myself both laughing and getting genuinely emotional at times, all the while keeping mental notes and trying to figure out the details of the murder case. I really don't think I've played any other game with such a good story and characters, but Disco Elysium is helped by the fact it can play more like a book than a game at times, ha.

For me its Stray, as a cat owner, i just loved the game dearly.
