There are many things which can make someone snore whenever they are sleeping. It can be as a result of airway obstruction, nasal issues or even sleeping position. Also, being overweight can make someone snore when they sleep.

Between you and your partner, who snores? What's the cause of your snoring?

I don't snore and I don't want my partner to be snoring too. I have a roommate then who used snoring to chase me away every night. I don't hate her but I feel like strangling her at night so that I can enjoy my sleep.

I don’t snore unless I have a stuffy nose from a cold or a flu. Dealing with a stuffy nose is the worst, but luckily, it only happens once or twice a year.

I also don’t have a partner as I’m single and haven’t been in a relationship for a couple of years now.

If the snoring is ridiculous loud or includes a gasping sound, they should be checked out by a medical doctor.

I had a girlfriend once who snored so loud, God!! It was very difficult sleeping in the same room with her. Even if I slept first, once she starts snoring, I will wake up.
It's funny but it's a very uncomfortable when that you want to enjoy your sleep, another person will disrupt it. "Had" means she's not with you anymore, was it because of the snoring?

I and my partner are very light snorers. I don't think someone from the next room can hear us snore. But we actually do snore. Even though my snoring gets deeper when I sleep after undergoing stress, it is still not loud snoring.

Yeah, we are no longer together and it wasn't as a result of her snoring we separated. It would be stupid to break up a relationship for something so trivial.

My partner snores sometimes but mostly only when he is either really tired or sleeping on his back. Have got earplugs to help me get to sleep better. 😀

I thought it was the main reason. The reason was that some people don't like their partner to snore, it can be an irritation to them which will make them to start finding it less attractive to do anything with their partner.

That's where talking stage is important when trying to start a relationship. Anyone that can't stand snoring should say it during the talking stage. It is better you guys don't start a relationship than start and split up simply because you find out he or she snores. These things should be handled in sincere talking stage before a relationship starts.

No, not at all. Snoring can never be a reason enough for me to end a relationship. Also, there's tech stuff like nasal dilators and strips that can be used to stop someone from snoring though. So, it's not a big deal to end a relationship for.

Honestly, I don’t think snoring automatically makes someone less attractive. Sometimes it’s just a blocked nose from a cold or allergies. If it’s loud or constant, yeah, it’s worth checking with a doctor just to be safe. Not all snoring is a big deal though, it depends on what’s causing it.
