Working out at home is supposed to be effective as long the person is doing the drills right.

Unfortunately, that's not the main issue but the lack of concentration a lot of people have when working out at home. They lose focus and motivation very quickly until unlike when they're working out at the gym.

Have working out at home being effective for you?

You can do squats, push ups, sit ups, home weights, etc at home. It can be just as effective as going to the gym. You don't need a gym for a hardcore workout these days, but it does help to some extent.

However, you can buy most weights and do weight training at home.

There's also a 30 minute full body workout that you can do at home.

This looks very good. I might use it once in a while.

There's a home workout app I've been using for years. It's very good, I had to pay for membership at some point.

I prefer to workout at home, because I get anxiety with strangers, and I get workout more effectively from my home base.
I used to face anxiety if I am outside meeting new faces because I don't know how to start conversations with them. I was told one can learn how to be normal if there's new faces around, I'm learning that. I guess you can research about it so that you will stop getting anxious while outside.

As long as you stay dedicated to your routine, you can get good results. Not only would you be saving money in the long run without having an expensive gym membership, you can workout on your own terms and at your own pace. Just don't skip days or routines because then it won't work. What you can do is have a plan written down, stick to that plan and eventually your brain will get used to your routine. Have a dedicated area to work out and make sure you don't have any unnecessary distractions in that room. It'll all work out in the end!
