Game Freak, the creators of Pokémon, are gearing up to release a brand-new mobile RPG called Pandoland. Set to debut in late April, the game is now open for pre-registration on both iOS and Android. Early sign-ups come with bonus diamonds, which can be used in the gacha system for up to 100 draws.
Designed as a casual RPG, Pandoland invites players to dive into dungeon exploration, uncover hidden treasures, and gather an extensive collection of characters and items—boasting a roster of over 500. Assembling the right team will be key to progressing through various challenges and adventures.
The game’s trailer teases an exciting journey, featuring a crew of characters sailing between islands, only to come face-to-face with a massive, menacing squid.
Game Freak isn’t limiting itself to Pokémon—the studio has several projects in the works. Back in 2023, they revealed Project Bloom, an action-adventure title that marks a departure from their usual style. The game is being developed in collaboration with Private Division, but its future remains uncertain following the publisher’s sale to an undisclosed buyer last year.
Meanwhile, Game Freak is also hard at work on Pokémon Legends: Z-A, set in Lumiose City from Pokémon X and Y. Slated for a Switch release this year, fans are eager for more details. With Pokémon Day coming up on February 27, there’s a strong chance we’ll learn more during the annual Pokémon Presents livestream.
