We've had great musicians pass away in the past. I am talking about those who made music become what it is today. The likes of Michael Jackson, 2Pac, and others. Is there a particular one who's dead that is your favourite you wished to see alive today?

Chester Bennington in Linkin Park.

I was going to see them in November 2017 when they were slated to tour Japan, but the concert was canceled because he died a few months prior.

I wish Kurt Cobain was still around, I would have loved to see Nirvana in concert. He died when I was only 4 years old, so I never got the luxury of doing so.

This is what I came here to say. His voice was wonderful, his lyrics were powerful, and he was very talented. I miss him dearly.
I saw Emily Armstrong try to do Chester's 17-second scream during their debut live... I don't think it's going to happen. She got like a gracious 12 seconds, if I counted correctly.

Garnett Silk and Dennis Brown are the two most prominent reggae artists who passed away I would love to have with me one more time. Reggae is one of my favorite music genre and I love those guys so much.

It was a shame how Garnett Silk died in a house fire while Dennis Brown died of respiratory failure.

I never was conscious when 2Pac was alive and took hip-hop by storm. Growing up to hear his songs, I really wish he was alive till this day. I don't think hip-hop would have degenerated to the point it is now with the influence of hard-core rappers like 2Pac looming over the industry.

2pac's arrogance was what got him killed as far as I'm concerned. If he had played it smart, I'm sure he'll not be killed the way he was eliminated.

I am a fan of Jim Morrison. I would like to watch him sing Roadhouse Blues live.

I love 2Pac too and I wished that he's still alive. Hip-hop was the trending songs then. I love the way he rap his songs.

2pac cannot be sidestepped in hip hop because he's a legend in this genre. His lyrics are out of this world and I keep wondering where he got them from. Even till now, his songs are still relevant.

Jimi Hendrix and Jim Morrison were legendary musicians who left a print in the world of music. I ponder on what they would create given that they are still alive today. I'm sure they are going to do better than the contemporary artists.

It seems you are a fan too? I haven't seen any of his songs that I will tag an old song. It's really new every morning. One of my friends don't have any other musician's songs except him.

Tupac my nigga! I am still pained how this guy died at a time when he was still trying to achieve a lot in the music industry.
Without Tupac, I don't think we'd see a lot of poetic rappers that are in the game now. Eminem, Rakim, Kool-G-RAP and many others were inspired by Tupac. He was truly one of a kind and unique. I don't think we'll ever see another rapper on his level again. Kendrick Lamar and Eminem are somewhat similar to him in terms of being poetic & lyrically, but Pac was that dude.

Especially with songs like "Dear Mama", "Brenda's gotta baby" "Keep ya head up" and I wonder if Heaven had a ghetto.

Biggie was great as well. It's a damn shame that they both went out the way that they did.

Frankly speaking, I do not listen to contemporary artists. Most of the artists and bands I listen to are either dead or inactive. I don't listen Jimi Hendrix much but I like him. No one has been able to beat him as the top guitar player. Jim Morison has created timeless songs and.

"Dear Mama" is classic! The first time I heard that song, I had to play it all day. Sweet lyrics placed just the right way.
