Do your virtual pets compete in competitions?

There are range of competitions that are hosted by different sites which our virtual pets can compete in. For example, there are the beauty pageants, sports and talent shows competitions. Do you get your virtual pets take part in those competitions?

Sounds very pokemonish, but I wouldn't bother with this, I wouldn't raise anything that could compete so well.
