Favorite fast food restaurants?

Chick-fil-A is Famous for its chicken sandwiches, waffle fries, and exceptional customer service 🙄

The thing is, I tend to eat more Burger King because they send us coupons. I definitely eat out way less due to lack of monies, plus the economy in my area has suffered and a few fast food places have shut down.

Regardless, I do have two favorite restaurants: Checkers (aka Rallys) and Bojangles.

Checkers is known for their fries. I love their fries. To the point my favorite thing to get is the fry lover meal, which includes a burger that they put their fries on. If I were to choose a favorite fry, it would be here. (Popeye's is honestly a close second though!) Unfortunately, I'd have to drive quite a while to reach one of, these places since I've had to move back home.

Bojangles is a fried chicken restaurant. I used to prefer KFC over any other chicken place, but I quickly fell in love with Bojangles' flavor! They have a delicious breakfast menu, with fresh made biscuits and their own version of hashbrowns - called "bo-rounds" that I think are more delicious than than the browns of a lot of places. Their sides are a bust though, I like their coleslaw but not really anything else, sometimes the mac and cheese is good. But 99% of the time I've had delicious, crunchy, juicy fried chicken, which is something that's honestly a flip of a coin at a lot of KFC places I've been.... plus I always joke that KFC biscuits could be used as a weapon, cause theirs is more like a rock than a food lol

I'm a big fan of Mr Biggs. I like to order chicken and chips there. It's always very delicious.
I was still a child when I heard about Mr Biggs. Everybody used to take their family there, enjoy and have fun before coming back. I heard they are very good in chicken and chips. Back then, I was fantasizing that I will go there if I grow up but it pained me that I couldn't hear about them again.

I have heard about Mr Biggs some years ago but also equally heard they are almost dying off as a result of stiff competition from other big chain restaurants. How true is that?
You are right! Mr. Bigg's has faced stiff competition from other big chain restaurants, but I still see some of their outlets functioning. So, I don't think they're entirely out of business.

Hardees is one of my favorite fast food places. It's also known as Carl's Jr. in some states. They have the best chicken compared to other places.

I have never heard about Mr. Biggs until I was today year's old.

Probably because I haven't been to any African countries yet (Nigeria).

I like how they blatantly used McDonald's color scheme and pretty much ripped off the M too. I wonder how much that helped? 😆 It had to have helped some if a small-time owner of coffee shops (1960s) got bought out by a conglomerate (2013), but, that's a pretty long return on investment (50 years)!

No at all, they are still in business here as well. It's just that they are not almost everywhere like they used to like other restaurants used to be now. Kilimanjero is a big chain restaurant pulling big weight now.

I have to add, that McDonald's Japan is superior to McDonald's US. They're not even in the same class, quality wise and price wise (you can get 15 chicken nuggets for under $4.50 here).

It's not the most delicious, but I will choose it over other fast food options because it's just better. They definitely have different ingredients...

Any meal which is well cooked deserve any amount of money they sell it at. As long as it gives me exactly what I want, I'm never going to bother about how much I'm paying to get it and eat.

I was more-so making the comparison of quality between McDonald's here and there. The ingredients are definitely different. The price is cheaper because there's a lower cost of living, and I'm benefiting from the dollar being stronger than the yen.

That said, it's not my first choice for fast food. My go-to would be KFC, which is drastically different with chicken quality too.

I understand you very well. The differences in the ingredients they used in their preparation makes all the impact on how it comes out. KFC is always king when it comes to chickens.

Burger King’s Original Chicken Sandwich is one of my favorites, and I like their Italian Original Chicken Sandwich too, but they don’t have it often. You can usually request it though and they’ll make it for you sometimes.

I love Checkers too, especially their fries and fish sandwiches.

I haven’t tried Bojangles yet, though. I never knew we had one out here. I’ll have to try them soon.

Another fast-food restaurant that I enjoy is Lotteria. This is something that you won't be able to try unless you make your way to Japan.

A Lotteria cheeseburger has the perfectly melted cheese. The grease from the cheese, along with the overly-saturated greasy burger patty, spread atop and around the bun from soaking into the burger wrapper, is just something else...

I'm still sure that with the amount of grease that it has, it's still healthier than a McDonald's (US) cheeseburger. I think they're required to use different oils here that aren't as bad as the oils allowed in the US. However, it's probably not a food you can consume daily, especially if you're watching weight.

Just thinking of it now makes my mouth water with the flavor combinations it has... but I haven't even had breakfast yet.
