Hi there! My name is Daniel and I live in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
I recently started following virtual pet related content. My current job is related to building a platform that integrates several mechanics found both on Idle Games and Virtual Pet games.
As for my history playing pet games, when I was young I spent hours upon hours on Neopets! It actually became my first introduction to Web Development, fun times 🙂
All in all, I'm here to learn about the strengths and the weakneses of the genre. Here are some questions to break the ice:
- What do you value in a virtual economy?
- Are you an active player (as in spending hours a day on a specific game) or a passive player (long running tasks, dailys, accumulating resources in the background)?
