Self-care and positive self-talk is very critical when things get so tough on us. I make sure to be kind to myself and each time I do that, I feel relaxed.

If I am feeling less motivated, I put down the drugs, I mean, the cellphone. I disconnect, as that is often the reason I am feeling that way. It's easy to view your life as lesser when looking through the lens of other people's lives and their experiences or accomplishments.

Then, I go for a run. You ever go for a long run? You will feel great.

The feeling from a run lasts quite a while, and that'll get me motivated to get back to things again. Of course, after a hot shower to wash off, and a ice cold one to cold down.

By disconnecting from things and focusing on what brings me joy. Usually some kind of break helps me get back into things.
Yeah, sometimes you do just need to completely disconnect. It's great for overall mental health too.

I will have times that I purposefully leave my phone in my car so that I am 100% focused on family. Having that time is also a way to stay motivated too, to know what you're doing things for, and for who you're building a legacy for.

One of the things that I have going for me in facing tough times is the fact that I always go into the things expecting difficulties. That's to say that I am always mentally prepared for those tough times before I start anything. That helps me to build resilience to face them.

I agree with this as well. Another thing that helps me is I remember where I started and what I've faced to overcome those obstacles in the beginning.

Remember these difficulties actually motivates me and inspires me to do even better.

Always remember the reason why you started whenever it gets very tough. It's going to be more than enough to keep you motivated and keep going hard.
That’s actually a good reminder. I’ve done the same when I felt like giving up, thinking about why I even started work helped me a lot. It helps you push through those rough times and stay focused

Totally agree, this is exactly it. I try to remember why I even started in the first place and all the stuff I’ve already managed to do. Thinking back to that first day, when it felt like I had no idea if I could actually do it, really hits differently.

Rome wasn’t built in a day, right? So I try to give myself credit for every little win along the way. That mindset keeps me going whenever things get rough. It’s honestly my motto every time things get tough.

That reflection is everything.

Setting realistic goals is the way to with having a big target which you're looking forward to achieving over a long run of time. It's when the short terms goals are not realistic that it makes it very easy to discourage the person from being motivated.

I'm a motivational speaker myself so I know what it takes to stay positive. I tell people a lot of this myself. So i tell people about being motivated all the time and I tell myself self
