Developing a pet game takes a lot of time, effort and hard work, however, how long did it take for your pet game to start becoming profitable?

Was it profitable when your game launched in beta mode or did it take along time after its public opening to become profitable?

Also, can you tell us some of the things that you did to make your pet game profitable?
