Apologies for the late update this month, as mentioned in our official Discord Kro was stuck overseas by the snowstorm, which caused the delay. But we’re back at full speed, prepping for the closure of Closed Beta and the launch of Open Beta!
Farming
We have nearly
finished the farmland art, while some of these have been shared before, below are all finished pieces for farming. Currently, we are only missing the alternative small pen art and the alternative backdrop for the trees, otherwise, farmland art is completed.

Starter Mystic updates
While it is important to note, Fyrets or other starter mystic breeds will
not be introduced to the game
by Open Beta, we’re also slowly working on them. Currently, there’s
progress on the Fyret accessories and the
Bovine whites, as seen below. Bovine
whites are finished, along with all other starter mystic whites, which means the
work on missing genes now begins!

Backdrops and Decor
As mentioned before, we can not enter Open Beta until we have finished
reworking all of the Kickstarter decorations and backdrops. We have already completed the work on the Obsidian Sentry decor and Opalescent Fountains, and are currently working on Onyx Composites, with the final decor piece soon following. Below are the
finished Opalescent Fountains and the
WIP Onyx Composites backdrops, with comparison to their original versions.

Tutorial
We are working on a complete overhaul of the onboarding process, which means
after creating your founders you will be sent on an expansive tutorial, which will teach you the
core game mechanics as well as provide you
various rewards, including your followers. Below is the mockup of some of your plans!

Rotting and Economy
Based on user feedback
we will be removing mandatory rotting from the game and will be introducing a
composting system, as seen on the below mockups. With composting, no items will rot automatically, instead you’ll have the option to convert 5 food or supply items to scraps or ash.
Provide specific item requirements for greater rewards and special fertilizers which provide better events.Once this system is complete, we’ll be also rolling out a
massive economical update to adjust to the changes.

Beta Update
We have concluded the final mid-closed Beta which was our cleanest wipe yet. While we now have the greater tasks of the
composing system and the tutorial, and some small tasks, such as permakit items, we are otherwise
in the cleanup phrase, which means getting any visual and functional kinks out of the way, to ensure the game is fully functional both on mobile and desktop. The list of bugs we fixed this month is nearly endless.
Closed beta will end this month, though we don’t have an exact date yet, as we are currently debating doing one more wipe before closing the beta servers.
Open Beta will likely launch in early March.
To summarize: We shared fyret accessories, farming images,genes, NPC art, backdrops, mystic updates, timeline updates, and new features.
What’s next? Expect backdrop and decor art, more NPC updates, icons for the permakit items, feature check-ins, and Open Beta dates.
