That's pretty good. Crazy amounts of dollars being backed for those sites, and only one of them couldn't reach their goal.
I think Lumizard didn’t reach their goal because they didn’t preview a lot of things on their Kickstarter. Such as, dragon markings or kickstarter exclusive items.

In 2023, Lorwolf raised $46,709 from 734 backers to bring their game to life.

Pawborough also raised $87,244 from 1,021 backers to fully develop their game. They should be launching to the public soon.

In 2021, Herd of Hounds raised $10,609 from 242 backers and they’ve been opened for a while now.

Off the top of my head, I know that My Singing Monsters used Kickstarter to fund the game, My Singing Monsters: Composer was able to reach that goal and it became a huge success.
That's indeed a very great example. Another one that comes to my mind is Subeta. Which Is a virtual pet site that used Kickstarter to fund its reboot. But unfortunately, it didn't meet its funding goal, but the community rallied around it and they helped complete the project.

Subeta's story is very inspiring. I also recall that Marapets also used crowdfunding to revamp its site.

Their board game was able to raise over $100,000 via Kickstarter with 721 backers.

Did they also run one for their main game?

I don’t think Subeta has ever ran a Kickstarter campaign before, but they do have a cash app, which helps them fund their game. Their cash app has been around since their game was launched. They were actually one of the first pet sites to introduce a cash app feature.
