I don't like the beach (even though I'm on an island) for the water because it's a headache to get the saltwater off with public showers that, even though are clean here, are still dirty with trails of sand in and out. I wouldn't like to take a shower in the heat, just to throw on new clothes, and immediately walk outside to get drenched in sweat again. To combat fears, exposure therapy works well, in this case. I have some irrational fears too as I am just scared of failing. .
