Are you a freelance writer, where do you find writing gigs? Well, freelancing sites are certainly good place to find writing gigs but these markets are competitive. You can also use webmaster forums for writing gigs but getting jobs on a consistent basis is difficult. Another option is join newsletters or websites that provide information on writing jobs. One website I find very useful is called Make a Living Writing. You can join their mailing lists and you will be sent writing jobs on a consistent basis.

There are various avenues where writers can find new gigs, especially on Fiverr, Upwork and Reddit. I've seen a few writers obtain new clients through the for hire sub on Reddit along with the freelancers section. The looking for work area can also be a good place to advertise your services. Social media is another avenue that freelance writers can explore to find work. Platforms like bluesky, threads and Twitter enable writers to find exclusive jobs.

However, online communities are great for finding writing jobs. Considering the fact that most upcoming webmasters are generally seeking writers to help jumpstart their projects. I'd recommend upcoming writers to advertise their work in as many places as possible, which will only help in the long run.

Freelancing sites like Upwork and Freelancer have assisted me, but then again, it is very competitive there. Through social media, I could find access to so many opportunities like on LinkedIn and Twitter.
