Mobbles, Capture, Collect and Trade Cute Virtual Creatures on your smartphone

  1. The trailer:

The features included in Mobbles are as followed:
    You can check out

Has anyone tried this application yet? Sounds fun to me.
  2. I'm installing it now xD
  3. The location idea has already been done by another game, Geomon, which I've been playing lately. But this has a more kind of "adoptable" feel while Geomon is more of a Pokemon-esque game.

I'm going to try it. Downloading it now xD
  4. Be sure to let us know how the gameplay is and if you recommend others to download it!

@KiaraKiara I haven't heard about Geoman - could you make a thread about it by any chance?

  6. That sucks @AuriosAurios :c Geomon is one of my favorite games atm.

And @cpvrcpvr I could make a thread for it later on tonight most likely.

  11. Too many to count!!

Seeing as no one has made a game-play summary-review of this game yet:

The way you find your Mobbles is like Geomon - you have to use Wi-Fi with your location services on to find them. Unlike Geomon though, you can see the appearances of the Mobbles that are scattered throughout the map and you can pick which one you'd like. The app is also limited to a maximum of 54 yards to catch your Mobble too, so it encourages everyone to get your butt off your seat and WALK. Walk to the place you want to catch more Mobbles! Move those legs! Not only that, but there are always new Mobbles appearing in your map DAILY.

Catching them is rather humorous. Mobbles you try to catch will try to move around your screen quickly and you have to tap on them repeatedly until they're dazed, then you catch them. I like this part the best since catching them made it feel really interactive.

The graphics are filled with cartoony, cel-shaded monsters with relaxing music to match as your care for them. While Geomon gives you a 'Pokemon' like experience, Mobbles give you the real 'virtual-pet' feel one could crave for. Feed them, play with them, give them naps, flick them in the air and so much more! There's a good amount of pet-interaction here! You might be surprised what you could do to your pet.

The more you take care of them, the more money you can gain. The game offers dailies for you to do that changes throughout the day, from morning to night. These are optional of course, but if you follow them you'll gain a lot more money.

What's the money for? Well for one, it's to buy food. Second, is customization! Each Mobble has its own clothes to choose from, and you can buy these clothes to dress them up. Each Mobble also has their own background to call home, but they're rather pricey for a new player and it won't hurt to stick to the normal, cheap rooms first.

Overall, a fun game for kids and adults alike. More fun if your Android/iPhone has an internet subscription on it's own so you can reach places that have no Wi-Fi hotspots.

P.S - You can trade these little buggers too. Add me? Here's my username: vanillaeclair

  13. @BexxyBexxy - omg, you got more than I do! XD Nice job! I think I only have half the amount you do. I find it really hard to catch them. D: Sometimes my iTouch tells me a Mobble is nearby, but I have no internet connection available!

    Have you caught the newest one yet? It's red, has one eye and as two long antannae. :D I haven't. ;m;

  14. I just caught one that was released on June 11th Monka - [IMG]
    Not the red guy yet, but I've seen him on my radar ;__;

They also have one only available in South America - Sapo [IMG]

Anyway, I went full dork and found forums based around 'em.

They have so many different ones... the creators of this game have spent a lot of time on creating those little guys.

  16. My name is Bexxy on mobbles, and the mobbles forum :)

Also, I found a "rare" mobble somehow VIA a notification on my iPod... I posted asking about it on the collector's forum, and I have people offering me $50USD for it and rare mobbles from E3 xD
I can't believe people are that into this game... I'm fascinated!

  17. That's so cool, do you plan on selling it or wait for the price to go higher?
  18. Anyone here play the the game Mobbles?

If you do, what do you think of the game? also how is your collection coming along so far? :)
A friend of mine has recently just started and i played the game before on iphone, yet don't own an iphone or itouch atm.

If you do play, she asked me if there is anyone willing to gift her a mobble called Cuby?
She said she would really be happier then anything if that were to happen :)

So if you have one then please let me know or if you have an extra willing to gift someone :D
    thanks so much!
  19. Would anyone here happen to have a Cuby they wouldn't mind gifting a good friend of mine?
She hasn't been playing mobbles long, maybe a few weeks, but it's her favorite one of the bunch and so i just thought id ask since i see a good amount of people play here :)
  20. Re: Anyone here play the the game Mobbles?

Cuby was only given away at E3, and people don't just give them away :( I had to trade a couple rares for one. Can ask around at this forum, though...
