Which one is your favorite subs?

I mostly like the "ask" subreddits, such as AskReddit and AskMen(Over30). They seem to always generate interesting and sometimes helpful opinions. A majority of the rest of the subreddits I'm subscribed to are hobby/interest-related.

I've used AskReddit a couple of times, it's a good sub no doubt but I haven't used AskMen(Over30). I'm going to check it out tomorrow.

Facebook and Instagram still remain my most used social media platform. I am still getting into TikTok but I don't think it is going to beat Facebook and Instagram. I use X too but not so much.

Currently Tiktok is beating Facebook, just that it's still hitting up in order to match Instagram. Almost everybody is now on Tiktok, either watch or creating contents. Not everybody is no Facebook but almost everybody is on Tiktok.

Not almost everyone. USA pushed a bill to ban TikTok in the state. I don't think many people in USA will be using the social media site unless they are using VPN.

It hasn’t been banned yet. There’s going to be a bunch of court battles between the government and Tiktok on this matter. In fact, there’s going to be one in September. It’s also Election year, so TikTok might not even ever be banned because the next President might decide not to ban it if Biden doesn’t get re-elected.

A U.S. appeals court on Tuesday set a fast-track schedule to consider the legal challenges to a new law requiring China-based ByteDance to divest TikTok’s U.S. assets by Jan. 19 or face a ban.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia ordered the case for oral arguments in September after TikTok, ByteDance and a group of tiktok content creators with the Justice Department earlier this month in asking the court for a quick schedule.




On May 14, a group of TikTok creators filed a suit to block the law that could ban the app used by 170 million Americans, saying it has had “a profound effect on American life” after TikTok and parent company ByteDance filed a similar lawsuit.

Under the appeals court schedule, the creators, TikTok and ByteDance must file legal briefs by June 20 and the Justice Department by July 26, with reply briefs due by Aug. 15.

Facebook reels isn't that authentic and complete to watch. I know that people share the reels from Tiktok but the ones I watched on Tiktok is more complete and authentic than Facebook's own.

Facebook has always been a copycat. They’re not known for bringing fresh ideas to the table. There are so many people on Facebook who just copy other content creators' pages and reuse their videos over and over. There isn’t any authenticity.

I agree. I don’t hear anybody talking about the threads app at all. It came and went. It opened up with basic features and that’s why I think it didn’t become a major competitor to Twitter.

Majority of what keeps me on Facebook are the football pages that I follow. I get steady updates from them which I share for those who follow me because I have a good number of them interested in such updates. As for TikTok, it's once in a while I even open it.
