Hello everyone,

This has been a very long time coming. Virtual Pet List has had a significant update.

Somethings include
- New forum layout
- New Theme
- New Options for users in their profiles (links to other sign-ons)
- New ways to create threads - Discussions, Polls, Articles and Questions
- The Tagging System is now live; make sure to use tags on your posts. 🙂
- VP Directory Update - New Layout and more information can be added to support the owners/ creators of the Directory.
- New user Ranks and Options

More will be added in the coming days.

You're welcome, I appreciate everything you do for me as well. And I like hanging out on your website which is a win-win for me.
 
A new prefix has been added to the directory. If a game is a mobile app, you will now see the prefix at the beginning of the game’s name.

We will be updating the directory and adding the prefix to games that are mobile apps as well.
 
We’ve implemented a new feature: the use of GIFs. If you’d like, you can include them in your posts by clicking the three dots next to the picture icon in the post bit, then select the 'GIF' tab.

Good work guys, glad to see some new updates to Virtual Pet List 🙂

Always a great feeling to keep the site alive and healthy with new things to add as time progress
 
To improve navigation, the directory now displays 25 games per page instead of 18. We hope this change makes browsing easier for you!


Additionally, the number of topics displayed on a forum has also been increased from 15 to 25.
 
If you’re writing a draft, we’ve increased the draft limit to save for 20 days.

So you’ll no longer have to worry about losing a draft post.

This applies to all messages that you’re working on.

We’ll adjust these limits accordingly.


We’ve also increased the number of threads that display per forum, so instead of showing 15 threads per forum, you’ll see the last 25 threads.

We hope this helps make browsing our forum a lot easier for everyone!
 
Late Tuesday night, our server encountered a technical issue that caused database errors and downtime, which continued into Wednesday afternoon.


To restore the site, we had to roll back to a recent backup. Unfortunately, this means some posts made shortly before the rollback were lost. We know how frustrating that can be, and we truly appreciate your patience during this unexpected issue.


Everything should now be running smoothly, and we’ll be monitoring closely to make sure things stay that way.


We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience, and thank you for sticking with us.
 
We’ve rolled out some backend changes to help improve overall performance and boost the site's speed.
A new caching system is now in place, and we’ve also blocked malicious bots from hitting the server.
 
Thanks to a collective effort from our entire community, VPL has officially surpassed the 800 members milestone! We truly appreciate everyone who referred friends and continues to spend time here.
